The Atlantis Alliance is, as far as we can tell, the largest Internet site dedicated to the needs of the small scale military modeller. Not that we don't have a keen appreciation of trains, ships, aircraft and all the other things we model, it's just that we, as military modellers, have always tried for the past six years to provide "one stop shopping" for modellers interested in the military side of modelling in 1/76, 1/87, 1/120 and 1/160.

So here we are, in our second century, with 15 suppliers on three continents (if you count England and Tasmania as continental!), who represent the best we could find in vehicles, figures, buildings, fortifications, landscaping materials and military railway equipment. There are a few missing names, but we're working on that! --Watch this space. We have period civilian vehicles in all scales, from WW1 to SFOR, too.

For 2000, we have broadened our WW2 range considerably, with the addition of the MMS range of white metal vehicles (armour and softskin), crews and riders of all major combatants, Our special focus on Commonwealth armies now includes the Canadian Military Pattern vehicles by Trux, through Indian pattern carriers by MMS, and the civilian vehicles of the Canterbury Miniature Commercials, many of which saw National Service alongside the postwar vehicles produced by BW to the .light armoured vehicles (LAVs) deployed by the Canadian Forces in the Balkans and the US Marines in the Gulf. Atlantis now includes the magnificent Trident range, which spans the entire WW2 and postwar period with NATO and Warsaw Pact armies, both in ready made plastic and in white metal kits, and our ready made Warsaw Pact and Eastern European line has expanded with the addition of IGRA Czech Army vehicles which have served on several UN peacekeeping missions.
